* Until 1045 PM CDT Monday.
* At 146 PM CDT, emergency management continues to report ongoing
flooding across the area. As much as 7 inches of rain has fallen.
Elsewhere widespread amounts of 3 to 6 inches are common. Local
officials continue to report many roads closures. Please avoid
driving through water. If conditions do not improve by later this
evening, this warning could be extended further in time.
* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Omaha, western Council Bluffs, Bellevue, Fremont, Papillion, La
Vista, Plattsmouth, Ralston, Valley, Springfield, Arlington,
Waterloo, Cedar Bluffs, Murray, Cedar Creek, Inglewood, Elkhorn,
Millard, Offutt AFB and Carter Lake.

The National Weather Service in Omaha has issued a
* Flood Advisory for
The Missouri River At Omaha.
* until late Wednesday night.
* At 11:00 AM Monday the stage was 24.9 feet.
* Flood stage is 29.0 feet.
* Forecast...The river will rise to near 28.5 feet tomorrow evening.
* Impact...at 29.0 feet...At this level water nears the base of the
Council Bluffs levee. Significant lowland flooding occurs in NP
Dodge Park, Freedom Park, Tom Hanafan Park, Fontenelle Forest and
Haworth Park.
* Impact...at 28.0 feet...At this level most of the flood gates for
the city of Council Bluffs are closed.
* Impact...at 27.0 feet...NP Dodge Park, Freedom Park, Tom Hanafan
Park and Fontenelle Forest begin to flood.
* Impact...at 25.0 feet...A casino parking lot begins to flood along
the Iowa side of the river.  In addition, Haworth Park located in
Bellevue begins to flood.

water depth may be too great to allow your vehicle to pass safely.
